Overview

The SHIELD (Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense) is an awarded contract vehicle managed by the U.S. Missile Defense Agency (MDA).

Established to support the “Golden Dome” initiative, it serves as the primary acquisition framework for developing a multi-layered homeland missile defense architecture.

SHIELD will allow MDA and other DoD entities to rapidly issue orders under one enterprise flexible vehicle.
